Cor triatriatum: a review of the literature in light of an interesting case

Objective: to describe the surgical technique for the correction of Cor triatriatum by real photos and video of the intervention. Methods: literature review and illustration with images of the real anatomy of this pathology in an intervention performed on a 68-year-old female patient who consulted for dyspnea and cor triatriatum sinister was documented. Results: Illustrated surgical intervention of cor triatriatum sinister in an adult patient, with recovery of functional class. Conclusions: The objective of the cor triatriatum surgical treatment is to restore a normal cardiac anatomy in addition to correct associated anomalies that are frequently present in this entity.
